No, they noted it down in their notes to study it further. They thought it might have moved further than they expected it to.

It was, after all, a "moving star".

But their records end a short time after. They noted down a sickness, and then... never made more observations.

I could dedicate years to actually trying to investigate this. I'm suprised I found anything, honestly.
