Capturing would be an ideal situation, but I don't believe it's worth the risk.

As much as I think having the source of the prophet's blood available would be useful, Ion will be able to locate them and discover our base. No, that would not work well.

The Iahn suddenly falling in the middle of their festival would likely send the lunists into chaos. They would have no idea how their savior suddenly was extinguished. The symbolism of having this happen during their ceremony would be ideal.

There would be another Iahn, but nowhere near old enough to get in our way.
