There we are.

The basic trip up the mountain this year is like so.

This first point is the base camp. It's where you need a permit to go any further. I will be providing those.

The first day will usually take you up here to camp two. Stay the night...

And you carry on day two avoiding the sheer face there and make it to camp three.

Day three is a simple shorter climb to the peak, and back down to camp three before nightfall.

Normally, going to the Air Nexus we would follow mostly the same path.

The Nexus is here at point five, on the other side of the mountain, wedged in the gorge.

How do you get to it? That's simple.

About halfway between camp two and camp three's locations, there's a cave system that goes straight through the mountain.

You come out the other side, and it is a simple stroll to the monastary and the Nexus.

The cave entrance is well hidden, to prevent stray travellers from going through, but I know the way.

This is the normal route I would advise, to stay on the same safe trails as everyone else most of the way.

But you said that stressful climbing would be something you needed to avoid, yes?

If at all possible. I do not believe we would be able to keep normal climbing pace otherwise.

In that case, things get slightly more complicated. But I have a plan.
