It's the sun. With a face. I'm... not sure I've ever seen a depiction of the sun that way.

With a face? No. Lun is the sun, but typically Lun is depicted with the glow of the sun behind them.

There's no depictions in old Lunism like this, either.

Well, I guess that's not entirely true. There's depictions of the sun with this many points, like this, but... never curved, or fanned out like this. They're always straight out.

And I've always thought that was due to the number of the guardians.

Which means it's possible whenever this was made, there was knowledge of the guardians, as well.

It's not a Del's face, either. ...You know who it looks like...?

It's an urocyon face.

And the number of points matches the number of the tails of the original Urocyon of legend.

I'll be the first to admit we're making some logical jumps here, but... do you think this could be evidence of at least some of Lagre spirituality coming from sun worship as well?

Are you saying it's possible Drago and Lagre religions come from the same start?

I've never seen any other depiction of sun worship in any Lagre records. In any non-Lunist records, in fact. Only old, old, Lunism.

Granted, we only have so much of other religious records back in Ion, but the origin of religions is something studied a great deal back home.

The First might be able to answer that question, but... I don't think that's something worth bothering the memories with, to be honest. I don't think they'd give a straight answer.

This tapestry is bringing forward a lot more questions than it is answering.

If the Religous caste council knew of this tapestry, they'd send an entire college of priests to be asking to study it, I can tell you that.
