Ah, well...

While you all were having breakfast, I decided to slip out to walk around the gardens for a while. Figured you all would be busy doing whatever you came up here for.

I was walking with Beacon, in fact! Until we both heard the commotion coming from the main grounds.

The two of us saw the abbot being carried out of the Nexus. Beacon barked at me, which I took as "go see the inside", so I did.

Saw the group of you all fighting some crazy lady. I knew I could deal with her magick, but I needed some kind of distraction to get her to look at me instead.

So I ran out, quickly made some snowballs from the snow near the entrance, and ran back in to distract her. Put some rocks in them to really tick her off.

Didn't really know about her bladed whip, so I didn't really have a plan for that part. But I was admittably kind of flying by my seat the whole time.

You were planning on beating her by yourself? I thought you didn't fight.

I don't fight! I was really just trying to delay her, in all honesty. Thought my skill set might be a good use for that. Which it was! Until the previously mentioned bladed whip.
